Rundown of Violence

Baghdad Province

_ Two Iraqi soldiers were killed in a suicide car bombing in western Baghdad.

_ In southern Baghdad, a roadside bomb killed one Iraqi policeman and left 13 other Iraqis wounded.

_ 18 bodies have been found across the capital city in the last 24 hours.

_ Two U.S. soldiers were killed when their patrol came under small arms fire southeast of the capital. Four other American's were wounded in the attack.

_ One U.S. soldier was killed and four others injured in a roadside bomb blast in northern Baghdad.

_ One U.S. service member was killed in a roadside bombing in southern Baghdad. Three others were wounded in the blast.

Basra Province

_ Shiite militiamen ambushed a Danish military patrol near Basra killing one Danish service member and injuring five others.

Diyala Province

_ Gunmen attacked a security checkpoint in Baqouba Monday morning killing at least three Iraqi policemen and two civilians.
