Rundown of Violence
Babil Province
_ Two bullet-riddled corpses were discovered in Latifiyah, south of the capital.
_ An Iraqi policeman was killed when a bomb detonated outside his house Thursday morning.
Baghdad Province
_ Two civilians were killed and five wounded when a bomb exploded near a bridge spanning the Diyala River in southeastern Baghdad.
_ A mortar round targeting the Shiite slum of Sadr City killed one individual and wounded four others.
_ Police found the bodies of 13 people in Baghdad, all of who are believed to be the victims of sectarian violence.
_ A roadside bombing south of Baghdad claimed the lives of three U.S. soldiers.
Basra Province
_ Militants assassinated a police official in the southern city of Basra. The official's son was also killed in the attack.
Qadisiya Province
_ Clashes Thursday in Diwaniyah between the Mahdi Army and Iraqi security forces left at least four civilians dead.
